Before you start
Before opening the wizard, check the five points below.
| You need | Detail |
|---|---|
| NEXOS Studio open | The Studio you are working with. The path was followed with the development Studio. The portable NEXOS Studio.exe shows the same screens according to the original tutorial, which did not verify it. |
| PostgreSQL running on this computer | Server 127.0.0.1, port 5432, the usual values after installation. If it opens pgAdmin, it is running. |
| A user allowed to create databases | postgres is suitable: it is the administrator created by the installer. |
| That user's password | The one chosen when PostgreSQL was installed. If your PostgreSQL does not ask for a password for local connections, leave the field empty. |
No database already named clientes | If it exists, NEXOS does not delete it: it uses it as it is, and the tutorial no longer follows the screenshots. See the database already exists. |
Where the password goes
The password is stored only on your machine, in the project folder (.nexos/conexiones.json). The browser does not see it again, and the project keeps only a reference to the connection.
Next step: create the project and its database.
